Dr. Muller had no idea how much her body would change during pregnancy, and how dangerous pregnancy can be for some people. These experiences mobilized her towards action as an educator, a scientist, and a community member.

Dr. Muller has designed a new course on physiological mechanisms and socioeconomic determinants of maternal health. In addition, Dr. Muller does outreach events to bring the latest scientific findings and understanding to pregnant individuals whose health the findings impact.
